Vacinação para pneumococos: devagar com o andor!
Objectives The Second Regional Pneumococcal Symposium will bring together policy makers, national public health and financial authorities, pediatric and infectious disease societies, scientists, researchers, bilateral and multilateral agencies, and other partners involved in supporting immunization programs in the Americas. Participants will benefit from seminars that: Review the epidemiology of pneumococcal disease, including estimates of the health and economic burden, Summarize the status of pneumococcal vaccine development and implementation. Identify key actions for the advancement of pneumococcal disease prevention in the Americas. Venue São Paulo, Brazil has been chosen as the venue for the pneumococcal symposium. The Conference will be held at the Sofitel Hotel December 13-14, 2006. Conveners: Albert B.
